Mika
It is generally a colorless object such as glass. It is composed of thin thin scales and plates. It can also be colored according to the compounds in it. Mica is a substance that contains one or more of the elements iron, calcium, lithium, fluorine or magnesium. The main varieties are: Muscovite (akmica), paragonite (mica with sodium), phlogopite (mica with magnesium), margarite (mica with calcium) and others. Mica is resistant to heat.
It is used as a cover in some electrical appliances (for example, electric irons) because it is non-conductive, and in front of stoves, ovens, and electric grills because it is heat resistant.
Carbon Black
Carbon black (subtypes are acetylene black, channel black, furnace black, lamp black and thermal black) is a material produced by the incomplete combustion of coal and coal tar, vegetable matter, or petroleum products, including fuel oil, fluid catalytic cracking tar, and ethylene cracking. Carbon black is a form of paracrystalline carbon that has a high surface-area-to-volume ratio, albeit lower than that of activated carbon.
TiO2
It gives whiteness, brightness and opacity properties. The most important application areas are paints and varnishes as well as paper and plastics, which account for about 80% of the world’s titanium dioxide consumption. Other pigment applications such as printing inks, fibers, rubber, cosmetic products, and food account for another 8%. The rest is used in other applications, for instance the production of technical pure titanium, glass and glass ceramics, electrical ceramics, metal patinas, catalysts, electric conductors, chemical intermediates, or as a substrate for phosphonic acid adsorption.
Bleaching Earth
It is a clay with a high specific surface for the removal of some colored unwanted substances from liquids by adsorption.
Kaolin
It is a white and soft soil type. It is a type of clay containing kaolinite, mother-of-pearl and anoxide. It is the white clay used in making porcelain. It is also known as Chinese clay or white clay.
Drilling Bentonite
It creates a layer in the wells, reduces friction and increases durability.
